-Only for Two Years?-

I have been watching "My Lovely Samsoon" recently and it's a really interesting show. From the teaser trailers, it said that the show actually changed how people in Korea take into account first appearances. Well, the lead actress is not really the typical slim actresses which you see on most dramas nowadays so i guess its a refreshing change.

Yesterday's show had this part where they explained the hormones the human body releases when two people falls in love with each other. It is said that these hormones will only lasts for two years and after that you start to see the faults in each other, at most four years.

Is it really true? How about those elderly married couples who still hold hands like teenagers do when they are out in the streets? Is that not love? I feel that sometimes people look too much into the scientific fact of things. Love is not supposed to be taken apart by scientists to be analysed like that. I believe that some things in this world are not meant to be explained by science. They are there just because they are there. Love is in this world because the world needs it.

Love lasts for a lifetime.

-Don't Quit-

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all up hill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.

Got this from xiuli's blog. We were actually asked to memorise this by our math teacher when we were in Sec1. Find it really useful now because i'm having my exams. Actually it can be used for our everyday life too. Never Give Up!!!

Sigh. People can spread all the rumours they want about me, i don't really care because i know its not true. I just hope you will not be affected.

-Woes-

Oh the woes of being an elder sister. Why are the younger ones in the family always the ones being pampered? Whenever i do not do the laundry, my parents will start screaming and yelling at me. But my sister? She doesn't do it and my parents will help her do it. Why is life so unfair?

-Exam Fever-

Yup. It's the examination period again. Time's passing by so quickly nowadays. Perhaps the world is spinning faster?

Looking at all the slim bodies on television should inspire me to slim down. Yes, i admit i'm envious of all those curvy bodies that i see on the television but i'm wondering why are everybody so infatuated with the ideal body? Ideal = Tall, Slim and Curvy.

A very long time ago, men liked women who were fuller or in today's context, fat/rounded. Now it seems looking like you are anorexic is the in thing. Being curvy is one thing but looking like you have starved yourself for an eternity is another thing altogether. Society should accept people for who they are not for what their size is. So what if somebody's a large size? Does it really matter that much?

I think everybody should be hypnotised like Jack Black in Shallow Hal where he sees women for who they are inside. Not how they look on the outside. Okay, so first impressions matter in this modern world but should everyone put so much emphasis on it?

I'm fat! Sigh. The realities of life.

-New Template-

Finally changed my blog template to a nice gold colour. I realise i have always been choosing black as my blog template.

There's fireworks display today! If only the government will put fireworks show every single day, that would be so nice. But at least now they put it up for a few days in a year. Not like last time when they only put it up once a year which was on national day. Can you imagine those who do not have tickets to the national day show would only get to see it on the television. Now anybody who wants to watch it can just make their way down to Esplanade and they will see the wonderful display of fireworks.

Shall end here. I'm scared of the interview later in the day. Hopeully i can get to work at the IMF. Wish me luck.

Thanks to a certain ML, i reached school at 830am when my class is suppose to start at 9am!
Make me wake up so early.
I need my sleep. *cries*

Finally finished my retail communication CAs yesterday. Other options have only one or two CAs for their core module, why must retail have 5 CAs?

Enough grousings. Today is supposed to be a happy day.

Yay! One year!

Happy! *flies up to the sky*
